The vast wilderness entangled with my impulse for fun serves as my muse. Inspiration from snowboarding in and out of bounds led to rhyming poems documenting incredible experiences made possible by Mother Nature. Illustrating these poems into books is one way I want to inspire and entertain.

Music is another medium that flows from within. I’ve also been writing lyrics and collaborating with musicians to create songs. We’ve put three out so far. Being from Texas, country music runs in the blood, but so does the Metal. More tunes on the way.

Living and working in the Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado mostly in Snowmass Village and exploring the surrounding backcountry has encouraged me to keep a camera close by. To quote a friend, “Everywhere you go, you feel as if you’re in a painting”.  Of course, the outdoors is a big inspiration and so are the unique scenes you gaze on and are able to capture at the right moment.
